Laruche has become widely renowned for its impeccable service, bespoke cocktails and eclectic function rooms since opening in 2009. Being first and foremost a cocktail bar, the bartenders love getting creative with the shaker behind the bar. Laruche also offers a selection of French champagne, premium wines, spirits and a selection of the best local and imported beers.
With an impeccable, world-class line up of local, national and international DJs, Laruche is the place to dance all night under the electric lights. If you’re in the mood to kick back, cuddle on the couch in our private function rooms or grab a table in our newly renovated beer garden, located in Bakery Lane.
If you are looking to host your next special occasion, Laruche includes eight function spaces split over two floors that are ideal for celebrating birthday parties, engagement parties, cocktail evenings and business / corporate functions. Upstairs offers a series of small function rooms that offer the perfect setting for intimate events, while downstairs welcomes guests into the heart of Laruche amongst the chandeliers, grand seating and luxurious decor.
For those that prefer to party in private, the entire venue can be hired exclusively.

Upstairs Venue Hire
Laruche’s upper level features a full-service bar as well as a series of smaller spaces, which offer the perfect setting for intimate functions and events. For larger functions, the entire level can be exclusively booked for up to 100+ guests.
The upper level’s open plan layout provides an opportunity for guests to mingle, network and enjoy a lively atmosphere while remaining separate from the rest of the function venue.
DOWNSTAIRS FUNCTION ROOMS
Being at the heart of Laruche, downstairs is where you will find the main dance floor and the fun loving masses. Glittering chandeliers, plush seating and stylish finishes come together to create an elegant function space. The entire floor can be exclusively booked for up to 200 guests, or segmented for smaller groups.
Special Occasions
The ideal function space to host a group of friends or colleagues who like being amongst the action. Situated next to the DJ booth, this area is full of atmosphere with a pop art printed carpet, psychedelic walls and a copper chandelier.

Bakery Lane
For bigger groups who like to set their own pace, this private function room boasts plenty of seating and direct access to the upstairs bar. A versatile space, suited to medium size corporate and cocktail parties.
